Medina Electric recently relocated their Rio Grande City office to a new 8-acre site in town. The new facility consists of a 9,500 sq. ft. office building, 6,000 sq. ft. warehouse, 6,000 sq. ft. vehicle storage building, and a 2,700 sq. ft. covered parking structure. The entire structure was designed as a pre-engineered metal building, including brick and metal panel façade. The facility utilizes LED lighting throughout, rainwater collection for irrigation, and other high-efficiency design concepts. A hardened space was constructed to protect sensitive IT servers and infrastructure. The new secure site is now surrounded by an 8 foot-tall concrete fence along with access control throughout the facility.
