This new 129,000 sq. ft. headquarters facility is located in Cassopolis, Michigan. Midwest Energy has experienced significant growth in the internet services division, which is a major contributor to their new facility needs.
This building consists of a two-story tilt-up office building, a one-story warehouse, vehicle storage, material storage, and maintenance building, all built on over 30 acres. The office is designed with an open floor plan, to support the culture of Midwest Energy, to provide a collaborative atmosphere. A 6,000 sq. ft. data center was constructed out of concrete walls and a hardened construction frame. The façade is designed with insulated, load bearing concrete walls, with a structural steel framing system. The buildings are designed with energy efficient concepts including geothermal HVAC and LED lighting.
Cooperative Building Solutions completed this project in the Fall of 2017.
